Welcome to Meghan's Race for Hope Team
Please join me for the annual Race for Hope DC 5K which supports the National Brain Tumor Society. Brain Tumor support and advocacy are important to me because my maternal grandfather, Ronald Smith, better know as "Pawpaw Smith" passed away from GBM after an 18 month battle.
The week beings with a 5K at Freedom Plaza where you can join me for walk, jog or run in honor of his memory and brunch after. Then the advocacy part of my week begins Monday with Head to the Hill training, culminating in an incredibly powerful day on the Hill, Tuesday, where we'll ask congress to continue supporting the Brain Tumor community at a high level by funding research at NIH and NCI.
I'm uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors, because two brains are better than one and together we will make a difference. I'm passionate about this cause, so I'm taking action. I would be so grateful for your help in this fight. You can help support NBTS by participating with me in Race for Hope. Please join in my team!
You can also help by checking out my personal fundraising page where I'm making it my business goal again this year to participate in giving back to NBTS for every Real Estate transaction I make.
