Welcome to My Personal Page

On March 1, 2015 my late husband Greg Milkovich passed away from Stage IV brain cancer. In the preceding 13 months after his diagnosis we faced many physical and emotional hurdles but throughout the process we always remained hopeful and we certainly made the most of the little time we were given together. The proceeds from this race will offer hope to others and, hopefully, give them more time than I had with Greg. That is why I am proud to again join the team "Americans Running for a Canadian, a/k/a Team Greg" formed in 2014 by my lovely, generous twin sister. The past year has certainly presented challenges to all of us but it has also allowed us the opportunity to recognize an inner strength that perhaps we did not even know that we possessed. Team Americans Running for a Canadian will still participate virtually in the 2021 Race for Hope and I know that May 2nd will be a day filled with love, as we remember and honor Greg.
In addition to generous donations and participation in the Race for Hope, the team holds an annual fundraiser "Chili and Cocktails for a Cure". Due to COVID, we have had to put this on pause but hope to hold this incredibly fun event as soon as it's safe. In the meantime, please be on the lookout for virtual fundraising opportunities.
I hope you will you support our team and the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure as we make strides for a cure!

National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
