Welcome to My Personal Page
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors.
This is my 10th year participating in the Race for Hope with Team Adams who graciously let me join their team so I didn't have to face this emotional walk alone. I am particularly passionate about participating in this walk in honor and memory of my husband Matt Adams who fought this battle with such bravery, courage and strength, but was called to the heavens on Dec 4, 2014 at only 49 years young. Boating was Matt's passion and I picture him anchored on a golden river smiling down upon us. Matt is dearly missed by all who loved him and his smile is forever embedded in all of our hearts - Sail on my darlin' Matt until we meet again in heaven.
I am also walking in memory of my dear Franconia Moose Family Center friends Lester Dove, Tom Hansen and Gayle Wortman and in honor of Greg Rucker, who is currently bravely fighting this battle.
I join this cause with so many others who have had such great losses so our loved ones are always remembered and that step-by-step we can raise awareness and be that much closer to finding a cure for this dreaded disease.
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
