I have registered to fundraise for the National Brain Tumor Society's (NBTS) Race for Hope-DC because I am passionate about the NBTS mission to conquer and cure brain tumors — once and for all. As many of you know, my father passed away from terminal brain cancer in 2011. He was diagnosed a few weeks after Mayim was born, It was the happiest time of my life after having my first child, yet also the saddest knowing that there was nothing I could do to help him. He was very athletic - loved to run/exercise daily and eat healthy, but this type of Cancer was very aggressive.
