Hello everyone!

For my birthday this year I am planning to run the Race for Hope 5K (it's actually a couple before my birthday). There are so many good reasons to add this to my race calendar. It's a great race right in the heart of DC, and I get to run right by my old workplace. I was invited to run on Sarah Jones' team (http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/site/TR?team_id=84220&fr_id=3220&pg=team), and I'm excited to support her! I am also excited to support the National Brain Tumor Foundation. As you probably know, my family was incredibly lucky to get to keep my mom, Joan, for two years after her brain tumor diagnosis in 1997.
