This is my personal fundraising page for the National Brain Tumor Society - Race for Hope DC, an event that will be held on Sunday, May 1st 2021 in Washington DC.  

I am participating as a part of Team - Ben's Brain Group which was formed in memory of my husband who passed away on October 5th, 2018 after battling glioblastoma for over two and a half years.

Ben’s Brain Group is also the name of the Facebook group where family and friends were kept up to date on Ben’s progress and status since the MRI that discovered the tumor in May 2016.  After his diagnosis, Benj endured two surgeries, two rounds of radiation, immunotherapy, various methods of chemotherapy, as well as countless hours of physical, occupational and speech therapy. Throughout it all he always kept his positive “We do it” attitude, always believing that he would come out on top.
