Welcome to My Personal Page
My family, friends, and I do the Race for Hope every year in celebration of my brother Zach and all those affected by brain cancer. Zach was diagnosed in 2007 with a tectal glioma and had a shunt put in to relieve his hydrocephalus caused by his tumor. His shunt malfunctioned in 2008, but thankfully has been living a happy and healthy life ever since.
We are so lucky in that Zach's tumor is considered lazy and will not continue to grow, and that he had such amazing doctors and surgeons caring for him. We know many families are not nearly as lucky as we are, and also use the Race for Hope to honor them.
I hope to raise as much as possible to continue the fight against brain cancer every single day. #greymatters
