I miss my mom. She was my own personal cheering squad. We had a special bond where we almost knew what the other was thinking or feeling. My mom lived an hour and half away, but would just show up to give me a hug. The tumor was unexpected. It still feels surreal so I'm hoping this event helps with the healing process. Mom was super generous and I know she would want to help in finding a cure for GBM.
I have registered to fundraise for the National Brain Tumor Society's (NBTS) Race for Hope-DC because I am passionate about the NBTS mission to conquer and cure brain tumors — once and for all.
