Welcome to My Personal Page
In February 2021, a few weeks before my 4th baby was due, I got a call saying my parents would no longer be coming to help since my dad had just had an MRI that found a mass in his brain. We had matching surgery dates and times across the country as his tumor was removed and my daughter was born. In mid March, the biopsy came back as glioblastoma multiform. He began chemo and radiation treatments.
It was a few months before I was even able to see him. I will always treasure the week I had with him and the time we had with all my kids over the summer.
In August, he was told he had the best results possible from all the treatments. 2 months later, he was getting weaker and his brain had been overrun by the tumor. My whole family rushed to Utah to say goodbye. One week after being placed on hospice, and just over 24 hours after my kids arrived to get one last hug, my dad passed away.
It is my hope that through fundraising and raising awareness, others will have the hope and time that I so desperately wish I had.
