Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello friends! On Sunday, May 7, this daughter of a Texas Longhorn will be proudly wearing a maroon and white ball cap walking a 5k to remember one of my favorite Aggies - Mark Roosma. Mark was an Aggie to the Corp (and my Texas friends know I didn’t misspell that). He was career Air Force, and his dedication to his country was surpassed only by his dedication to his family. Last year, brain cancer cruelly took him from us way too soon. He fought it with the grace, determination, and humor that he threw at every problem. But in the end, there is no cure for glioblastoma. My heart broke thinking of the milestones Mark will miss with his boys - college graduation, weddings, grandkids… My way of celebrating Mark is joining his family and friends to walk for a cure. Please help by contributing to this cause. Help us make sure that no more families lose loved ones to a brain cancer. Help us find a cure! Gig ‘em!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
