Nancy's Crew
Nancy's crew is running in honor of Nancy Athey and her fight against CNS Lymphoma.
Over Thanksgiving 2022, Nancy Athey was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma, a fast-growing brain tumor, which if left untreated, would have taken her life in 4-6 weeks. We are thrilled that today she is in remission as she has finished her first round of 8 chemo treatments and gears up for Stem Cell Replacement Therapy. We are grateful to the incredible doctors and nurses at University of Maryland Medical Center who are not only some of the best in their field, but treat her with great compassion coupled with a fun sense of humor. We are also grateful to the National Brain Tumor Society, which advocates for advances in research and care. Her children and grandchildren are uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. Please join us by making a donation today in Nancy's honor!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research and advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
