Who was Jonathan B. Weiss?

Jonathan Weiss was an amazing father to Marni and Nina, a wonderful husband to Aleen and a tremendous son to Howard and Elaine. Jon had friends from all walks of life and remained close to friends from Camp Bauercrest, Classical High School, and Georgetown University, to name a few. He was known for his witty personality, love and knowledge of Music (especially Classic Rock), for being a devoted Georgetown Hoyas fan, and his loyalty to friends and family. 

Jon's Courageous Battle

On October 31st, 2020 our lives were changed forever. Jon was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of brain cancer, Glioblastoma. It was a term that we never heard and didn't think was possible. You never think it could happen to your family.

After a courageous and strong 18 month fight our Dad, Husband, Son, friend and hero embarked on his Stairway to Heaven.  Although the disease took over, he never let it define him. He remained positive and continued to crack jokes. Jon will always live on in everyone’s heart.

There is not enough research to find a treatment for this deadly disease.  We are uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. We are passionate about this cause, so we are taking action. We need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in our effort! As Jon would always tell us: "Hold your Head up!"
