Race For Hope DC

MILES FOR MIRIAM

Hi friends and family! Miriam put up the most incredible fight against cancer till her very last breath. The impact she had on so many lives is one of my biggest treasures. She was the epitome of grace, work ethic, and faith. She underwent intensive treatments and took countless medications while two brain tumors weakened her physically. Two weeks before her death, she mustered every ounce of strength to get out of bed and celebrate her youngest son's 3rd birthday. Knowing that spiritually and mentally she was stronger than ever was the most amazing gift. She passed on October 7th, 2022 but left us the most valuable life lessons and the happiest memories.

The National Brain Tumor Society is funding research that's making huge strides towards finding a cure for brain tumors. That is why I am uniting with others to make a difference. My hope is that everyone reading this will join me in this race and fight with me or will donate in my mother's memory. This is for all mothers who face brain tumors to get the chance mine didn't. I am taking action about something I'm very passionate about and I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
