Karen's LunarTics
We have participated in the Race for Hope since 2011 as Karen's Pea Brain Team. Our Captain, Karen D'Alessandro, was initially diagnosed in October 2009 with a brain tumor. She fought with courage and determination, but was taken from us by this terrible disease on April 9, 2023.
Karen's survival of over 12 years is miraculous and due in large part to the expert medical care that she received. Many people don't get nearly as long. It's still not enough. Please help us reach the goal of no family having to experience what we did.
