Race For Hope DC

Team Fiza

Fiza was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) in December 2014. The disease, which to this day remains incurable, took her life 14 months later. Despite her prognosis, Fiza lived her life with cancer as fully as possible. She spent meaningful time building memories with her daughter Azu, she worked tirelessly in support of foster youth in Northern California, and she researched and underwent various treatments. GBM is an indiscriminate and mysterious disease, but medical researchers remain committed to finding a treatment breakthrough. We walk in Fiza's memory, certainly, but we also walk to help support their critically important work. Register and join us!
