My friend Lydia
In October 2004 I had the pleasure of meeting Lydia, a fellow film student at Exeter University. Since that day Lydia has become one of my closest friends; she is incredibly kind, funny, loyal and takes every opportunity to make people feel good about themselves. She really is a ray of the most brilliant sunshine.
Lydia was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2017. As her friend, this was utterly devastating to hear. Lydia underwent surgery and chemotherapy, and all at the age of 31.
Her positivity and courage is why I want to do something for her, she’s still fighting and I can certainly walk and run some miles because I have so much to thank her for. I treasure her friendship and would be so grateful if you would donate to this very worthy organisation.
I have registered to fundraise for the National Brain Tumor Society's (NBTS) Fall Challenge: Miles for Milestones because I am passionate about the NBTS mission to conquer and cure brain tumors -- once and for all. NBTS needs your support. After a year like no other, supporting this mission is more critical than ever. No donation is too small. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of those living with a brain tumor. Thank you for your support and please consider tuning in as we honor this community on October 17th.
