NBTS Fall Challenge: Miles for Milestones

Walk for Rorke

In 1998 my family lost our mother, Catherine,  to glioblastmona -  a fatal brain tumor.  She was 72 and still had a lot to give to her family and community she was diagnosed in April after suffering a seizure and lived five months after surgery and other treatments.  In 2017 my oldest brother, George, suffered a seizure and was diagnonsed  with the same type of tumor.  Because of advances and contributions to this cause he lived 22 months - he was able to walk his daughter down the aisle and dance at her wedding.  My nephew, Thomas, also suffers from a brain tumor that has impacted his life tremendously.
I have registered to fundraise for the National Brain Tumor Society's (NBTS) Fall Challenge: Miles for Milestones because I am passionate about the NBTS mission to conquer and cure brain tumors — once and for all.  NBTS needs your support. After a year like no other, supporting this mission is more critical than ever. No donation is too small. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of those living with a brain tumor. Thank you for your support and please consider tuning in as we honor this community on October 17th.  My family and I will be walking the boardwalk at Jones Beach, NY.  Our team is Walk for Rorke.  Join us or donate what you can so other families don't suffer as mine has.  Thank You!
