NBTS Fall Challenge: Miles for Milestones

Team Tricia

Family and Friends,

As you may know, the Boston Brain Tumor Walk supported by the National Brain Tumor Society will be virtual this year.  On October 17th they are conducting a Virtual Fall Challenge: Miles for Milestones.  The goals are the same.  Raise awareness around the critical issues facing brain tumor patients and their loved ones, and also raise vital funds that will move us closer to a cure!

With your support, I hope to raise a significant amount for NBTS to fund patient-centered research, advocate for public policy change, and improve the lives of brain tumor patients and their care partners. With over 700,000 people living with a brain tumor in the United States, the time to act is now.  Please consider supporting my fundraising efforts by making a gift by clicking "donate".

This is a special milestone year for Team Tricia!  It is our 10th anniversary walking in honor and memory of Tricia Maney.  Together over the years, Team Tricia has raised close to $30,000 in support of this cause and in honor and memory of our beautiful friend, wife and mom.  Tricia was diagnosed with a brain tumor in July of 2012.  She courageously fought but tragically lost her battle just four months later on November 11, 2012. I thank you all so much for supporting this cause and honoring Tricia's memory.

This year please join me for a walk around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield on Saturday, October 23rd at 10am (rain date, Sunday, October 24th 10am)

Meeting location: 7 Cristofaro Street, Wakefield, MA (arrive anytime after 9am)
Street parking on Walden Road and Cristofaro Street

I look forward to seeing you and thank you for your continuous generosity and support!
