On Father's Day weekend, 2015, our family's world was rocked when my son, Patrick (aka Smitty) suffered a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 32. That summer, he had a very successful surgery followed by 6 weeks of radiation and 18 months of chemo. While he was still going through chemo, Patrick also became a dad when Norah was born on his 34th birthday!

To our devastation, in September 2019, we lost Patrick to this horrible disease. We have been overwhelmed by the love and support of our friends and family (and even complete strangers!)  While there are treatments available, there is no cure for brain cancer. We need your help! We have met so many people affected by this horrible disease and are more determined than ever to stop brain cancer!
