My name is Lauren Story and I have been the nurse practitioner with the VCU Neuro-Oncology team for a little over two years. Our patient population consists mostly of primary brain tumors, so brain tumors that originate in the brain. At VCU we focus on preserving quality of life for our patients. With the help of our wonderful neuropsychology department (LiveNOW) we are able to not only treat the physical symptoms that arise with their diagnosis but also their emotional and mental symptoms as well. I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight.  National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
