Hi, it's Tina! My daughter, Amanda, was diagnosed with a brain tumor (astrocytoma), in 2021. She had just gotten married in 2020 and then found out she was pregnant around the same time she was diagnosed with the tumor. She had surgery in 2022, but the surgeon could not remove all of the tumor, and she also had a stroke during the surgery. She has been through rehab several times, but continues to have issues with the left side of her body. 

She continues to see her neuro-oncologist, getting brain MRIs every 3 months. In the meantime, research is being done, and we are hopeful for a positive outcome. But the research needs funding and we are hoping you can help. If you cannot make it to the event November 3, 2024, please consider donating to Amanda's team. We want her to get ALL the applause on race day!!

The walk is at Bryan Park, 4308 Hermitage Rd, and registration opens at 9, with the actual walk/race at 11am on November 3, 2024.
