Virginia Brain Tumor Walk & Race

Team Sparks

Hi Everyone,

After several years of contemplation, we've finally decided to participate in this year's Virginia National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) Run/Walk! For those who aren't familiar, Tammy lost both her dad and grandmother to Stage 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since then, Tammy was diagnosed with a benign meningioma (an entirely different tumor), which is routinely monitored due to her family history.

We're calling ourselves "Team Sparks" in honor of Dad and Grandma Sparks. We'll be participating virtually on November 4, 2022, walking to raise awareness of brain tumors and support ongoing research. If you'd like to make a donation, you can click on link to the right. It's definitely not required, but it would help the NBTS continue researching a cure for brain cancer!

Thanks for listening, and we hope you'll join us as we walk for Dad, Grandma, Tammy, and everyone who's been affected by brain tumors and cancer.

Let's go!
