Welcome to My Personal Page
It’s that time again for the annual Race to Hope! Team Giersch will be walking in honor of my Dad, Barry Giersch, as well as showing support for all those that have been affected by this disease. Consider joining our Team! We would love to have you! Join our team on Sunday, October 15th at 9 am at Goddard Park in West Grove, PA, or message me to find out other ways you can show your support.
Some of you may already know how I lost my dad but here is why I choose to walk. You always think it could never happen to you... but then it does and your world gets turned upside down. In 2007, an amazing man, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many began his own battle against Stage 4 brain cancer. Proving to be one of the strongest men I know, he fought for three long years until ultimately losing his fight. This organization is so much more than just an annual walk. It is a support system when you need it most, it is education, a way to support those in the midst of their own fight and an opportunity to walk for those who are unable to walk for themselves. It is a way to ensure no one fights alone. I walk for my father, Barry Giersch. Who will you walk for?
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
