Honoring the memories of Dov Benjamin Wisnia & Rabbi Eric Wisnia
My son Dov Benjamin Wisnia was diagnosed with a brain tumor February 2007, at age 27. He died five and a half years later on October 31, 2012, at age 33. Dov would have now been 45 years old.
Please join us in remembering Dov on Sunday October 13 at the 2024 Greater Philadelphia Race For Hope. Every year the Philly brain tumor race was important to Dov. He was hoping that research funded by the National Brain Tumor Society would produce a breakthrough that would add time to his life.
As we approach the 12th anniversary of Dov's dying, his family and friends are continuing his commitment to finding better brain tumor treatment options that will lead to longer lives for those living with brain tumors now and in the future. Let's support this year's event and fulfill Dov's wish.
As you may know, Eric Wisnia - Dov's father - died unexpectedly last year. Eric served on the NBTS national board for many years. Eric loved attending the Race with Dov's friends and family, holding up our big TEAM DOV sign, and advocating for NBTS. The Race for Hope is now a time for us to honor both Dov and his dad Eric each year.
Become a member of TEAM DOV 2024 to remember and celebrate Dov's life and Eric's, and to find a cure for brain tumors! We would love for you to join us to run, walk, or just hang out on October 13. Whether you can join us or not, please support TEAM DOV with a donation. No amount is too small... or too big.
PLEASE NOTE: This year, the Race for Hope Greater Philadelphia has a new home: Cooper River Park, 5300 N Park Drive, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109.
Thanks for helping us to create a world without brain tumors!
As Dov would say - Peace and Hamentashen,
Judy
