Welcome to Jess's Brain Trainers
Eleven years ago I was diagnosed with an Oligodendroglioma brain tumor. I had surgery immediately following the diagnosis and routine MRI’s after that. Years of clear scans came to an end in October 2020 when an MRI revealed the tumor had returned as a Grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma. Through surgery, doctors were able to remove most of the tumor. Over a year of radiation & chemotherapy treatments followed. My routine scans have been looking great and I am proud to say I am a brain cancer survivor!
I take part every year in the Race for Hope Philadelphia with many of my family and friends on my team “Jess’s Brain Trainers”. This past May, I also took part in Head to the Hill in Washington, DC with the National Brain Tumor Society to advocate for the brain tumor community.
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors! The National Brain Tumor Society is committed to defeating brain tumors and improving the quality of patients’ lives. We need your help in this fight!
I would love for you to join my team and help support the brain tumor community!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources.
