After amazing events at the Philadelphia Navy Yard for four years, and 2 virtual events in 2020 and 2021, it was wonderful to be back in person with everyone in 2022 and 2023. 2024 will be better than ever at our new home at Cooper River Park!

As you may know, I have co-chaired the Volunteer Planning Committee for the Race in the past and still serve on the Volunteer Planning Committee. As a 20 year chordoma brain tumor survivor/thriver, NBTS' mission of research and advocacy is something I support whole-heartedly. Money raised from the Race goes directly to funding research that will lead to cures for brain tumors. In fact, NBTS funded a seed grant that led to the recent breakthroughs using the polio virus to attack brain tumors and David Arons, the CEO of NBTS, is part of the White House Cancer Moonshot Task Force that was led by then-Vice President Biden! The dollars that we raise make a huge impact, and we have never been closer to a cure than we are now.
