Welcome to My Personal Page
Five years ago I had an MRI because I was experiencing headaches. Good news was my prior concussions weren’t the cause of the headaches. Bad news, they found I had a small brain tumor in my right frontal lobe. Imagine the panic I felt, a brain tumor?? I still feel it before my follow up MRI’s. So far, thank God, it’s been stable and I hope it stays that way.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case for everyone. I recently lost my uncle to the worst brain tumor you can get, glioblastoma multiforme. It was devastating for me and my family. He was the real deal nice guy and with a great sense of humor. With more awareness, there is more support, and more advances toward a cure.
If you can’t donate that’s fine. I don’t press people, but I know where I’ll be on October 8th, volunteering at the Race for a Cure Philadelphia.
National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
