Welcome to My Personal Page
Hi! I am a Physician Assistant with Penn Neurosurgery, where I have the privilege to support amazing brain tumor patients, their caregivers, and their neurosurgeons. Most brain tumor treatment involves a long road of surgery, physical therapy, radiation, chemotherapy, perhaps a clinical trial, perhaps the Optune tumor treatment field device...and at some point, likely more surgery. Every day I am struck by the courage and resilience demonstrated by the people forced into this battle. The fighting spirits of these individuals and their families are beyond incredible.
But we need more to offer patients to keep up the fight - and to win, by finding an effective and accessible cure for brain tumors. That's why I am proud to support the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS), which is the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the brain tumor community in the US. Its mission is to unrelentingly invest in, mobilize, and unite the brain tumor community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments, and advocate for patients and care partners. NBTS has a legacy of driving research accomplishments and discoveries toward treatments, changing public policy agendas through country-wide advocacy, and guiding & preparing patients to face their disease.
If you have the ability right now to support the brain tumor community, please consider joining the Penn Pioneers team, or donating directly to the National Brain Tumor Society. Thank you!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
