Welcome to My Personal Page
Yes, it was just yesterday that I was seeking support for a different cause.
Today we as a family are joining forces to help support the National Brain Tumor Society. Nearly two years ago my brother Jim learned that, what doctors had originally told him was Bell's palsy, was actually a brain tumor. Many of you may know that it was a brain tumor that took my dad from us 30 years ago. Needless to say our worlds have been shaken to their foundation once again.
Brain Tumors in some way have impacted millions. Just a few years after crossing the finish line with me at the Marine Corp marathon, a dear friend who had just turned 40, lost her battle with a brain tumor. Brain tumors do not discriminate and doctors are hard pressed to find a demographic pattern to them. My dad was a 62 year old veteran, my brother was a 57 year old physically fit guy at the time of his diagnosis and Stuart Cawthorn was a 40 year old lawyer in Manhattan.
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
