Race for Hope 2024 at Cooper River Park on Sunday 10/13/24
We are uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. We are passionate about this cause, so we are taking action. We need your help in this fight. We are walking and running in honor of Valerie.
She began her brain tumor fight in 2010. It was a difficult time for our family but the day she finished her treatments and was told the tumor was gone, was so joyous. When she was diagnosed again with another brain tumor in 2022, we were all devastated. She was brave though and came out ready to fight. She persevered, she was stoic, and she was optimistic. We will never be the same without her and our grief will last until our last breath but she will live on forever through all of us.
We want to help others who have been devastated by a brain tumor diagnosis by donating towards brain tumor research and support services. The National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
The 5K run/walk called THE RACE FOR HOPE will be on 10/13/2024 at Cooper River Park.
Registration starts at 7:30.
The remembrance ceremony is at 8:30.
Race/Walk starts at 10am.
