August 21, 1995 is a day I will never forget. I remember it down to every detail. I woke up and went downstairs to watch TV. I found my mom in the kitchen making a cup of tea...it was odd because it was so early. She then gave me the news that shattered my world. My Pop (Harry Pisacano;the reason we now have team Harry’s Hellraisers) had lost his fight against brain cancer. My Pop was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme in mid April 1995 diagnosed over Easter weekend. He lost his battle in August. 

Glioblastoma Multiforme I found later is the most deadly form of brian cancer. There is no cure for GBM and the prognosis is poor. This is why I choose to stand up for my fight against brain tumors. Most people are not aware of how agresssive it can be or many people it can impact. I truly believe research and screening saves lives.

Every year since we started team Harry’s Hellraisers we raised enough money that we were able to get a rememberence sign for Pop. I am hoping to raise even more money and awareness this year!

I am uniting again with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
