LOL: Love of Lenrow
Welcome to Team LOL and the Race for Hope PA. Team Love of Lenrow was started to celebrae my husband, Jon, who was diagnosed with a Grade IV Glioblastoma in 2018.
Jon and I met and married late in life, spending our second wedding anniversary in the hospital awaiting confirmation of his GBM diagnosis. For nine months, I navigated Jon's disease, was his sole caregiver following partial tumor resection and throughout treatment, and I helped him in his final passing on July 19 2019. Advances in brain tumor treatments could have allowed us to celebrate many more anniversaries.
Please join my team or donate in honor of Jon. The event will be held in-person at the Cooper River Park, beginning at 8:00 am on Sunday, October 13, 2024
