Race for Hope Greater Philadelphia

The A Team

Receiving a brain tumor diagnosis is a scary moment. I was sick for months prior to my diagnosis - major fatigue, brain fog, seizures, vision disturbances, headaches- and when all the puzzle pieces was put together, my tumor was discovered.

Having a craniotomy is a terrifying reality - happy I was not awake during the procedure - but when I woke up, I didn't realize how my life would change (besides the excruciating pain)

My post-craniotomy life looks nothing like where I thought I would be at 37. As a result of the tumor resection, I experience daily cognitive impairments, vision deficits, as well as constant emotional challenges.

I am uniting, once again, for the 7th time, with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I'm taking action. I need your help in this fight! National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
