Welcome to My Personal Page
Hi There:
In 2018, when the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer research disbanded, the Pink Bragade turned our efforts to the Brain Tumor Society by walking in Washington DC to raise funds for the organization.
The walk was shortly after our team member Lisa's husband, Greg, was diagnosed with a glioblastoma. Greg passed away a year later, as did a young friend of two of our other team members, Katie Munson. She was in her early 20s.
I know of so many people impacted by brain tumors, including my sister Lynne. Fortunately many have had positive results via surgery or treatment. This is why we are now walking to benefit this organization whose primary goal is to fund research for treatment and a cure.
A group of us are participating in the LA walk on April 15th. If you would like to donate to our team, or join us, that would be terrific. I have a personal goal of raising $250.
I wanted to share the news in case you might want to donate.
Stay healthy!
Carol
