UC Irvine Health Neuro-Oncology Program is always one of the enthusiastic supportive teams for Southern California/Orange County Brain Tumor Walk held by NBTS over past years. Inspired the courageous fighting spirit of my patients like young Joe Smeeding, a PhD student who battled with every tool we could find for almost 2 years, I have become the captain of UC Irvine Health Team to unite with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action.
